Kristin Reif, Vice President

Kristin Reif is a Vice President at The Tarrance Group, Inc., one of the most respected political research and strategy firms in the country. 

Since joining the firm in 2001, Ms. Reif has conducted research for a variety of national and state party organizations, including the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Congressional Committee, and the Republican Party of Florida and Colorado.   

Ms. Reif currently directs the legislative research program for the Republican Party of Florida, and has done so since 2002.  Efforts in targeting and strategic messaging have helped the Party expand their majority in both the State House and State Senate every year but one. 

In addition to state legislative work, Ms. Reif also performed strategic research for more than two dozen federal campaigns throughout the country, including work for nine members of the Florida Republican Congressional delegation.

Ms. Reif is also active in the firm’s quantitative and qualitative public affairs research.  Reif has performed research on growth and economic development and agri-business issues, including several successful initiative and referenda campaigns.  Reif has also used opinion-based research in order to help decision makers develop and evaluate strategies for corporate public affairs and reputation management for major hospitals and health care organizations in Pennsylvania and Florida.   

As a professionally trained and certified focus group moderator, Ms. Reif has conducted qualitative research in nine different states across the country – including Alaska.

Ms. Reif holds a degree in political science from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY where she was a member of the women’s tennis team.  Originally a native of Upstate New York, Reif now resides in Washington, DC.
